"I began working with Kristin and her team this summer when I decided to replace my 15-year old carpet with hard wood floors. The decision to continue my work with Kristin was easy once I saw the dramatic change in my first room (the sewing room) from off-white walls to serene green. She helped me choose paint colors, arrange furniture and pictures in each of the bedrooms. In the process, I simplified and organized my house in a way I had never done before. This house really became my home when Kristin redesigned it with all my favorite quilts, pictures, and colors. My living room never felt comfortable and I disliked the three-sided fireplace that was between my living room and dining room. The photographic renderings Virtual Interior Designers created of this room without the fireplace allowed me to see possibilities for the space that I had never imaged. The renderings from my actual photographs gave me the courage to take out a built in bookcase, wall and fireplace to open up the living and dining area.
