Amy Silberman, Design Consultant with Virtual Interior Designers, believes great design doesn’t have to be expensive and great ideas can come from simple, everyday objects. “Just by looking at an item and finding a new use for it can be the base for an exceptional room.” says Silberman. With these beliefs, she wants to share her love of design with her clients and help them create the home of their dreams no matter what the style or budget.

Being creative isn’t something new to Amy. Growing up she would often find herself painting her bedroom furniture (with her mother’s consent of course!) and rearranging the pieces over and over again. This is what prompted her to major in Interior Design at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in a four year FIDER accredited program.

 

Amy has gained hands-on experience in high-end kitchen and bath design, designing custom residential homes, and creating residential construction documents. All this exposure has led her to be a great multi-tasker and she adapts well to all of her surroundings. She has been able to put her design potential to work and is ready to take on any new challenge!
